Freight marketplace

Shipped

BridgeLinx

Pakistan's first digital freight marketplace. I joined the founding team and led mobile engineering through a $10M seed round.

BridgeLinx connects shippers who need a truck with the brokers, carriers and drivers who move the freight. Shippers, carriers, drivers, operations staff and terminals each work in their own app.

I joined on the founding team and led mobile engineering while the company raised a $10M seed. We shipped six Flutter apps and a Flutter web portal on a Node.js and GraphQL backend.

What I built

  • Six Flutter apps, including shipper, carrier, driver, ops and terminal, plus a Flutter web portal
  • A server-authoritative bidding and negotiation system for live loads
  • Live freight tracking on Google Maps
  • The migration from Firebase to Node.js and GraphQL, with Clean Architecture across the apps
  • Fastlane and Bitbucket CI/CD, and mentoring engineers joining the team

Stack

  • Flutter
  • Dart
  • Node.js
  • GraphQL
  • Firebase
  • Google Maps
  • Fastlane
  • Bitbucket Pipelines
